• Follow the Leader:
  • MarioMario54321's Oiram character inspired other creators to make Evil Doppelgangers as villains as well.
  • To this day, there are still many creators whose styles are obviously (and variably) inspired by SMG4, like OnyxKing and ShockHat734 — with the latter being known for Kirby machinimas.
• Missing Episode: The genre having its increase in popularity in the late 2000's, many videos of the creators mentioned on the main page are now presumably lost forever.
• Old Shame: Some creators consider their past work as poorly-written stories with underdeveloped animations. This is the case of Maxime Lebled, who made Mario 64 Bloopers series in his high school years and since moved to more refined 3D animation with more serious storylines.
