• In Memoriam: This episode is dedicated to Akira Kurosawa, which is fitting, as it's essentially a sci-fi remake of his most famous movie, Seven Samurai. He also directed a major inspiration for George Lucas to create Star Wars in the first place, The Hidden Fortress.
• Production Posse: Dave Filoni (supervising director & voice of Embo) and Greg Baldwin (voice of Casiss) previously worked together on season 3 of Avatar: The Last Airbender.
