- In the Japanese dub, Squiddly is voiced by a woman, Nobuyo Oyama.
- Voiced Differently in the Dub: Squiddly usually sounds like a dopey grown man in most dubs, but the Japanese dub makes him sound like a little boy, similar to Doraemon (of which they shared the same voice actress).
