• Creator Backlash: Trey Parker and Matt Stone later admitted that the episode's Speed parody was really several years too late. Furthermore, they were unaware at the time that Father Ted had done its own Speed parody "Speed 3", which they admitted was much better than their own.
• What Could Have Been: Trey and Matt originally felt the joke of Ms. Choksondik was too obvious and tried to make it less so by giving it a certain accent, à la Edna Krabappel, but eventually decided that none of them were nearly as funny as just saying "chokes on dick".
