Trivia / Sonic.exe: Nightmare Beginning

• Descended Creator: Jaiz does all of the voice acting in this game (minus the sound effects).
• No Export for You: The old version is only available in English and Russian. The English version has so many translation errors in the game, that it's barely comprehensible.
  • There is also a weird Italian translation of the game. This is the only one of Jaiz's games to be subbed in any language outside of English or Russian.
• The Other Darrin: Jaiz himself used to voice Sonic in the old version of Nightmare Beginning (doubles as Descended Creator). DarkBox is expected to take over for the Nightmare Beginning remake.
• Why Fandom Can't Have Nice Things: Ever since the announcement of Sally.exe Finished Nightmare (which is supposedly a continuation of the old NB timeline), Jaiz decided to put the Nightmare Beginning remake on hold to focus on this new project. Unfortunately, this has led to many people in the fandom to rant that Jaiz "doesn't care about his fans", to the point where he himself suffered a Creator Breakdown and showed a couple of mundane update videos just to please those "fans". At that moment, he was very close to cancelling the Nightmare Beginning remake altogether.
  • Thankfully, the majority of the fandom respected and defended Jaiz's decision.
