  • Content Leak: The rumors of an anime adaptation, dating back to as early as December 2022, were ongoing for the longest time prior to the reveal that an anime was indeed being considered in January 2024.
  • No Export for You: Like most of Comic Cune's serialisations, the manga is mostly in Japan, with no news of an English release, beside the current Scanlation done by Orchesc/a/ns.
  • Pilot: The original one shot, prior to the serialization of the series.
  • Pop-Culture Urban Legends: The anime adaptation. In late December 2022, there were rumors that a Shimeji anime would be announced in the following month's issue of Comic Cune for a fall 2023 release, but no such announcement came. Further rumors were spread throughout 2023, and while the manga ended in November of the same year, there was no such announcement of a Shimeji Simulation adaptation present anywhere, leaving the possible anime in question. However, in January 2024, it was reported an anime was being considered after all, though an official announcement has yet to be confirmed by either Tkmiz or Comic Cune.
  • Reused Character Design: It is revealed that the Chito and Yuuri Expies seen in the manga were reused by Tsukumizu for the story's cameo, whom they later appear as regular characters in the manga. This is not withstanding the audience seeing the real Chito and Yuuri in the penultimate chapter that confirms both stories are connected with each other.
