Trivia / Say It Thrice

Go To

  • Dedication: Say It Again is dedicated to Lady Norbert, who is fond of the author and served as beta reader.
  • Genius Bonus: In these stories, Lydia's biological mother's name is Cathy. This is actually a Mythology Gag referring to the original draft of the film script. As noted on the Beetlejuice trivia page, Lydia was to have had a younger sister by that name who befriended the Maitlands, until Tim Burton turned the two Deetz girls into one Composite Character.

  • Hilarious in Hindsight: Say It Again remains incomplete to this day. The last scene is Lydia gaining the rhyme which is central to the Beetlejuice mythos, and it's strongly implied that, between Say It Again and Say It Thrice, the events of the cartoon could easily have happened, despite the author not wanting to implicitly use them.
