- Meaningful Release Date: While the first episode was released for FIRST members on October 30th, 2021, it was made publicly available to everyone else on Halloween. As a result, the series began with The Grimm Child; it's not the first tale in the book, but it's the most appropriate tale for a Halloween episode that has an in-universe reputation for being associated with the Horror genre.
- Schedule Slip: The show was originally set to premiere alongside Volume 8 and the release of the Fairy Tales of Remnant book in 2020, but it was pushed back to Fall 2021 after the COVID-19 pandemic to fill the gap left by the original series after Volume 9 was delayed to 2022.
