• Dead Fic: The author has been known to have trouble with completing fanfics, sometimes not wanting to do full-fledged ones because of the possibility of this trope. While he tried to make one here, unfortunately it looks as though it won't be completed, although he'll still reveal various info on the story.
• What Could Have Been: When the story was first conceived, The Reveal during the endgame was going to be that Weiss wasn't a Schnee by birth, but an orphan Vlad took in and raised as a pawn. Over time, this was thrown out of the story because it was seen as stupid and unnecessary.
