• Tear Jerker: "The Warrior In the Woods" is read by Taiyang as a bedtime story to his daughters. The boy looks suspiciously like himself, the warrior looks like a cross between Raven and Summer, and the line that he fell for her as soon as he saw her silver eyes cuts right from the warrior to a young Ruby, listening in wonder as he wipes tears from his eyes. The subtext is clear that, while he is telling the story to his children, he is thinking about the two women he lost and the two daughters he still has. For bonus points, Yang is in red and black and Ruby is wearing a white shirt, just like their mothers.
  Taiyang: (wiping tears) Do you want another story?
  Ruby: Nope. That one was perfect.
