- Colbert Bump: The hack blew up in popularity after Pikasprey made a video about it, attracting a lot of people because of the open-world promise. It went from being somewhat known about to becoming one of the most popular Pokémon ROM hacks of all time. The video is sitting at well over one million views.
- Development Gag: Acetrainer Richard referenced how the Battle Tower had to be removed to make more space. Before he got removed himself, that is.
- Promoted Fanboy: Several people who made notable contributions to the hack appear as characters in the game, including as the new Elite Four.
- Role-Ending Misdemeanor: Neph was removed from the game starting in 2.4.0 after the real life inspiration was caught posting... rather nasty stuff releated to a certain historic nation on his own Discord server. As punishment, all traces of him were removed from the game.
- Throw It In!: Olympus Mons put in the Day-Care respawning after beating the Elite Four was originally a Good Bad Bug, but it was kept in as an Anti-Frustration Feature. Same with being able to tell a Pokémon's species (and whether or not it's Shiny) from the palette of its egg's party sprite.
