• Bonus Episode: Subscribing to a certain level on GB Patch's Patreon grants access to two Patreon-only optional side-stories with Cove, one which takes place after Step 3's end, and the another that focuses on your wedding night with Cove after Step 4.
• Crowdfunder Cameo: Leandra "Lee" Last is a backer-created character.
• Refitted for Sequel: The idea of a guy who only wore edgy, monochrome outfits was first made as a concept for XOXO Droplets, according to the developer. Due to the size of the existing cast, it was eventually dropped until the concept was later retooled for Baxter instead.
• Release Date Change: The game was originally supposed to release on November 2nd, 2020 but was delayed by two weeks, instead releasing on November 16th, 2020.
• Significant Reference Date: The birthdays of the side romance LIs fall on the release date of their DLCs, September 29th for Derek and May 19th for Baxter. Similarly, Cove's birthday falls on the day the game was initially planned to be released, November 2nd.
• Queer Character, Queer Actor: Noelani is bisexual, as is her voice actor.
