• Accidentally-Correct Writing: Nathaniel has had multiple correct predictions about future games in his various Prediction series. For instance, before Super Smash Bros for 3DS and Wii U released, Nathaniel correctly predicted Luigi's final smash involving the Poltergeist to suck up every opponent and shoot them into the sky.
• Acting for Two: Nathaniel plays his fictional twin brother Bathaniel Nandy, as well as a second twin brother, Nathaniel Nandy.
• Creator Backlash: Nathaniel has, in many instances, harshly criticized his older videos publically. He even made a video on what he thought were his worst Top 10s.
• Creator Breakdown: Nathaniel went through a rough patch which he refers to as the "Dark Top Ten Age of 2016". Nathaniel was going through financial troubles in trying to keep the rent on his apartment. Since this was around the time of the Adpocalypse, ad revenue wasn't cutting it for him. On top of that, Nathaniel was also attending college full-time, was in a relationship, and had no editors to help him make the videos. He had to resort to striking up deals with advertisers to make extra cash, but as a result of this, he had to pump out at least one video every week, causing him to rush almost every countdown he made throughout the year. Rather than sticking to his usual informative, yet witty form of narration, he opted for self-deprecating parody that felt practically unlike any video he had made prior, on top of either being misinformed or deliberately skewing information to get his videos out quicker.
• Keep Circulating the Tapes: Several of Nathaniel's old series, such as the Frustration series, How Will Nathaniel Rage?, and Story Time with NB are no longer watchable on neither of Nathaniel’s main channels. However, the story segments of the Frustration series are watchable in a video called “Story of the Frustration Series”. Both series have been unofficially uploaded by other channels on Youtube.
• Screwed by the Lawyers: In "25 Super-Duper Nathaniel Bandy Facts", Nathaniel mentions that his channel once primarily focused on music, mainly Guitar Hero and Rock Band, and that most of those videos have since been taken down by YouTube's copyright system and that most of them are permanently lost.
• What Could Have Been:
  • A web series called “Amiibo Verse” was announced on the NB Direct 2015, but it was never released. This was even mocked on by Nathaniel in the TRIGGERED video on himself.
  • Nathaniel’s NB Direct 2016, which had a teaser trailer and date of December, got cancelled due to personal problems in Nathaniel’s life.
  • A Prediction Series on Super Mario Sunshine 2 was planned to be released on the summer of 2017, but was never made.
  • “LEGO Peach: Princess or Hot Mess?”, a video part of the LEGO Mario Saga which was supposed to come out in late 2022, was never made.
  • Nathaniel stated in an AMA to promote his web series Bandy’s Universe that a behind-the-scenes video on the series’ production would be released after the first season ended, but it was never released.
