• Acting for Two: Aside from the many jokes about David Warner, there's a more direct example of Leonardo da Vinci and Crow, both played by Bill Corbett, appearing on-screen together.
• Bizarro Episode: Pearl, upset with Mike's mental health and upbeat nature despite repeated viewings of bad movies, swaps places with him for the first quarter of the show. Pearl dons a jumpsuit and riffs alongside the 'bots in the theater, while Mike hangs out with Bobo and Brain Guy back at the castle.
• The Cast Showoff: As in so many episodes, Kevin Murphy shows off his glorious baritone.
• Genius Bonus: AMC cars had a reputation of being incredibly durable, which was equally a drawback since they often were functional long after they should have been retired.
• Keep Circulating the Tapes: May not see a DVD release at all, as the November 2017 release is likely to be the last volume and this episode isn't included. Rumor has it that Shout! Factory is unable to contact whoever the original rights owner is.
  • The episode was added to Shout! Factory's streaming channels in August 2020, so it seems the rights issue may have been cleared up.
• Write What You Know: According to Paul Chaplin, the skit about Crow being disabled by a hailstorm came soon after Best Brains was victimized by one in real life, being based in the Midwest where severe weather is common, resulting in most of the cast suffering serious damage to their cars.
