• Billing Displacement: Sabrina Bryan's name is prominent on the cover of the first movie, despite only having a few minutes of sceentime.
• Dawson Casting: Nicky and Tara are supposed to be 11 and 9 years old but in the second and third film Nickys is played by Roshon Fegan and Blake Micheal who were around 22 and 19 respectively. In the third film, Tara is played by Olivia Ryan Stern, who was 25 at the time.
• The Other Darrin: Madison Pettis is the only actor to reprise their role in the second film, and then she was replaced in the third film, and everyone else was replaced once again.
• Real-Life Relative: In the third film, Max's parents are played by Peter and Anne-Marie Deluise, who are married in real life.
