  • The Noxcrew — creators of MCC — are official Minecraft partners, and have created a number of maps for the Minecraft Marketplace. More relevantly, though, they created the Noxcrew Gameshow, a Minecraft game-show that is in many ways the predecessor of MCC (several concepts are directly reworked from NCG, including the Decision Dome and its music, Dodgebolt, Sands of Time and Foot Race/Ace Race — the MCC evolution of NCG's Python's Crypt).
  • In addition, two other previously well-regarded Minecraft maps — both created by the Noxcrew — make reappearances in MCC: Super Hole in the Wall, revamped into the Hole in the Wall game, and Terra Swoop Force — the first level of which appears as a level in TGTTOSAWAF, as a preview for its upcoming re-release. While possibly not as well regarded as the above, Grid Runners (and it's sequel, Grid Runners PRO) forms the basis for the Grid Runners game.
• In Memoriam: After the tragic passing of Technoblade, a small memorial was added to the main event lobby to honor his memory. The memorial itself looks like a sword embedded into the ground, with a pig head engraved in the hilt and a crown hanging from the handle.
• Milestone Celebration: The non-canon event MCC Party took place on November 11th, 2023, as the 4th anniversary celebration of MCC and is its 44th iteration overall.
• Role-Ending Misdemeanor: Illumina had been a prominent recurring competitor since MCC12. His reputation was destroyed on October 22nd, 2023 after he was exposed of sexually assaulting and taking advantage of a woman while she was intoxicated at TwitchCon in Las Vegas that year. However, it was revealed Illumina also took advantage of the woman in the past. Illumina confessed his actions and apologized before he deleted all of his social media accounts and has since retired his persona altogether.
