• In Memoriam: The Tokyo Mew Mew chapter is dedicated to the show's creator, Mia Ikumi.
• What Could Have Been:
  • As Magia Record reveals the canonical designs for witches, some had to be scrapped:
    • Himena's witch was going to be named Vega, which has been repurposed for Juliet Capulet.
    • Urara's witch was going to be a giant frog named Jiraiya. This has been repurposed for the Frog witch from the Mobage game.
    • Lavi's witch was going to be named Tzvoosil.
    • Tsuyu’s witch was going to be named Riff, with Chizuru’s witch being named Bernardo.
    • Kagome’s witch was going to be named Titania.
    • Ria’s witch was going to be named Aelling.
    • Aimi’s witch was going to be named Belle, which was changed to be given to the expy of Zora.
    • Ayaka’s witch was going to be called Cirque.
    • Rika’s chapter had to undergo a total rewrite when her witch was revealed. Her original witch was a looking glass themed witch named Adonis.
    • The name Bella Donna was also going to be used for another witch.
    • One witch going to be named Zoe, but after it was found that this name as the same as Ophelia’s familairs, it was changed to Luisa.
  • Had Momo come along, she would have been a Ditto Fighter like Akko.
  • Seinaru was planned to have five separate super forms, but this was changed to one, with him gaining other sub forms as a result.
  • Before facing each historical Witch, Mikoto would have explained their lives, but when it became clear Mikoto wouldn’t be saved until near the end, this was changed to a Purifacator.

• There were plans for a Bee and Puppycat chapter, and a chapter for How To Date A Magical Girl!. The former was axed due to being ongoing, and the latter was axed due to the reveal that the entire plot was merely a simulation for a coma patient.
