- Corpsing: Musicians break into laughter near the end of "I Don't Know If I Can Go Through This Again". During "White Ugliness" Louis Cuneo keeps cracking up as well.
- Screwed by the Lawyers: The original version was released as a 4-track tape by Capitol Records, only for MGM Records to file a lawsuit on the grounds of it being a breach of Zappa's contract with Verve Records. The album was withdrawn as a result, but the litigation gave Zappa time to reedit it into its final form, which was released through Verve. Zappa's estate would eventually reissue the Capitol version as a 12" EP in 2018 as Lumpy Gravy Primordial.
