• Dueling Dubs: Before the Nozomi Entertainment English dub, the British magazine Anime UK produced its own dub of the first three episodes(the original OVA), KO Century Beast Warriors, on videocassette. This dub is obscure, and mostly remembered for the amount and variety of Accent Adaptation used.
• No Export for You: The first opening and ending themes are missing from the Nozomi release, which released them with the sequences from the second series. The first opening sequence is available as an extra, but the first ending is only background music for the disc menus. The change also removes the Evolving Credits from the first and second sets of episodes.
