Trivia / Hellraiser: Judgement

Go To

  • Cast the Runner-Up: Paul T. Taylor originally auditioned for the Auditor, but Gary Tunnicliffe liked his audition performance and enthusiasm so much that he was given the role of Pinhead.
  • Descended Creator: The Auditor is played by director Gary Tunnicliffe.
  • Dolled-Up Installment: Zig-Zagged. In contrast to preceding films that played this straight, it was conceived from the start as a Hellraiser movie. However, due to Tunnicliffe’s pitch getting rejected, he attempted to retool it into a standalone film via crowdfunding, which failed to meet its goal. A few years later, Dimension finally gave Tunnicliffe the green light to produce Judgement as a Hellraiser movie, rendering the film a Dolled-Up Installment of a Divorced Installment.
  • The Other Darrin: Paul T. Taylor takes over as Pinhead from previous Other Darrins Stephen Smith Collins (body) and Fred Tatasciore (voice).
  • Promoted Fanboy: Gary J. Tunnicliffe. From makeup effects on most of the series since Part III, to creator of fan film No More Souls, to writer of Revelations to director of this film.
    • Also Paul T. Taylor. Not only did he correctly guess that the audition script was for a Hellraiser movie, but he even held up a Pinhead action figure and Lament Configuration replica as a "wink-wink-nudge-nudge" during his audition tape. In fact, Tunnicliffe gave Pinhead a diamond-shaped hole in his shirt so that Taylor could have an action figure he can point to and say "That's me, that's MY Pinhead!"
