• Deleted Scene:
  • A couple of gags were deleted from the gymnasium sequence, including Bender having his midsection buffed by a machine (causing his head to fall off), and Zoidberg cutting some bungee cords that a man is exercising with, catapulting him out of the window.
  • Bender's complaining about life forms "shooting DNA at each other to make babies" was originally followed by Leela pointing out that Bender is a robot and watches human pornography all the time, to which Bender replies that he does so "entirely for the perversion".
• He Also Did: One of the character layout artists for this episode was none other than Peter Browngardt, who would later create Secret Mountain Fort Awesome, Uncle Grandpa and was the showrunner for Looney Tunes Cartoons.
• What Could Have Been: In addition to the deleted scenes mentioned above, the animatic has numerous other small differences compared to the finished episode, including a completely different ending gag where Zoidberg offers to fix his mistakenly giving Fry two left arms by offering to move his head between them.
