Trivia / Finch (2021)

• California Doubling: Taking place in St. Louis, San Francisco, Denver, and the road in between. However filmed in New Mexico (Which is not on the way). Towards the end when they’re able to be outside unprotected they’re right by iconic Shiprock which is about 1000 miles from San Francisco despite stating they’re only about 400 miles away.
• Release Date Change: Finch was originally going to be released theatrically by Universal on October 2, 2020 under the title BIOS before the COVID-19 Pandemic resulted in many films being pushed back and Channel Hopping to streaming services (see COVID-19 Pandemic Related Examples) including Finch, which was sold to Apple TV+ and released on November 5th, 2021.
