  • Awesome, Dear Boy: In the behind the scenes features, Virginia Gardner (Hunter) expressed how she jumped at the chance to do this movie since COVID had kept everyone from doing work for a while.
  • Completely Different Title:
    • Russian: Вышка ("Vyshka", "The tower")
    • Ukrainian: Над безоднею ("Nad bezodneyu", "Above the abyss")
  • Hostility on the Set: Light-hearted example. Virginia Gardner ad-libbed a lot of f-bombs while filming, which present a major problem when trying to edit the movie for a PG-13 rating. She joked that the director probably wanted to kill her for it.
  • Incidental Multilingual Wordplay: One element of the movie that does not translate well is the code "1-4-3" meaning "I love you", where each digit represents the number of letters in each word. The Ukrainian dub managed to make it make sense by making the code stand for "я тебе теж", meaning "I [love] you too".
  • Throw It In!: By her own admission, Virginia Gardner threw in a lot of f-bombs. They had to be dubbed over in order to get a PG-13 rating.
