• Creator Backlash: He didn't look back too fondly on his brief stints in various punk and disco bands.
• Died During Production: Killed in a drunk driving accident in the Dominican Republic in 1998, just as he was completing his comeback album. It was released posthumously.
• One-Hit Wonder: At least in America. He was massively successful in most of Europe, but despite his many, many efforts, "Rock Me Amadeus" was his lone crossover hit, although After The Fire's cover of Der Kommissar did become a top 10 hit in the US so he's more of a one and a half hit wonder there.
