The premise is a uniquely horrifying survival story, especially if you have acrophobia or basophobia. Imagine being stuck at the top of a huge radio tower with only a tiny platform barely big enough for two people to squeeze onto, limited food and water, and very few means of calling for help. Becky and Hunter were seasoned climbers and only one of them managed to survive, and barely at that.
The poster and cinematography alone are enough to instill vertigo and acrophobia in anyone who so much as glances at them. Huge sweeping shots of the tower emphasize not only how tall it is, but how it's out in the middle of nowhere, with nothing even coming close to it. It's said to be based on the KXTV/KOVR tower, which stands over 2,049 ft (625 m) tall, making it one of the top ten tallest structures ever built.
The reveal that Hunter has been Dead All Along, with half of her face covered in blood and her actual body laying broken and devoured by a vulture on the radio mast below. Everything that happened after she fell was Becky hallucinating.
