• Bad Export for You: To date, the fifth and last game, Curse seems to be available only in Mandarin Chinese, for some reason.
• Recycled Script: The second and fourth installments, basically. Prison is Hospital, but with the setting changed. The hero of both games lose their families prior to the start (James' wife and daughter eliminated by a Serial Killer, Scott lost his wife and son to the COVID-19) before they wake up in a hospital / prison, and it turns out the building is abandoned and full of zombies. Both games have the protagonist finding syringes in the medical bay as a backup, which they can inject themselves for an adrenaline boost (healing themselves in the process). Even the basic enemies are the same, like the bag-head zombie patients / prisoners and weeping undead nurses / wardens. Both games also ends on a haunting note suggesting that the whole thing was All Just a Dream seen Through the Eyes of Madness from a grieving protagonist losing his grip on sanity.
