Trivia / Crime Boss: Rockay City

• "Blind Idiot" Translation: Crime Boss: Rockay City was developed by a Czechia-based studio, and while the dialogue and its subtitles are far from being incomprehensible, they still make it clear that the developers are not native English speakers. Issues with the script include mismatches between the spoken dialogue and their subtitles, incorrect syntax, grammar errors and gibberish phrasing likely due to loan translation. The quality of the English localization is especially surprising considering that the story was supposedly co-written by Damion Poitier, a native English speaker.
• Playing Against Type: Nasara is played by Damion Poitier, who also played Chains in PAYDAY 2. However, unlike Chains, Nasara acts as The Fixer of Baker in this game, rather than the enforcer type he's known of in that game.
• Stunt Casting: Let's face it, the majority of the game's All-Star Cast falls into this category. With the exception of Damion Poitier, Michael Rooker and Michael Madsen, they have relatively low screen presence, and appear in cutscenes only.
