- Fan Translation: The first SNES game has been translated in English by Aeon Genesis in response to this game not being released outside of Japan. Other translators have translated the game in other languages as well.
- Remade for the Export: For 29 years, the first game stayed only in Asia. While the SNES version has been said to be denied export by Nintendo of America due to their Moral Guardians-friendly policy back then, neither the PlayStation remake nor the PC port of said remake were exported either for reasons unknown. It took until 2023 for WayForward Technologies to announce that they'll be remastering the game for all systems in all regions for this game to finally see an official western release.
