- Breakup Breakout: She was The Jannetty initially as she was released by WWE in 2007. Kelly Kelly was the most popular diva on the roster, she and Layla would go on to become Divas' Champions, and Layla would be the last ever Women's Champion until it was revived in 2016. However Brooke eventually subverted this by becoming Knockouts Champion, arguably the best wrestler of the three, and the only one still active since Kelly and Layla have now retired, essentially becoming the Michaels of the group.

- Real Life Writes the Plot: Her heel turn to join Aces & Eights was originally meant for Brooke Hogan. However, Brooke in real life posted about an engagement in the same city TNA were taping in. TNA were annoyed that they couldn't preserve Kayfabe, so they allowed Hogan to leave the company and then revealed Tessmacher as the Brooke who'd been mentioned in promos.
