For the Band:

  • Career Resurrection: After decades of failing to escape the shadow of their debut album's success, Bloodlust rejuvenated their popularity drastically, with its music videos receiving millions of views and earning the band their first Grammy nomination. Their next album Carnivore even more so, as it received their second-strongest first-week sales yet and earned the band another Grammy nomination for "Bum-Rush", which won, making Ice-T the first rapper to win a "Best Metal Performance" award.
  • Development Hell: Murder 4 Hire had been planned for release as far back as late 2003, but the death of D-Roc and other scheduling issues caused it not to see the public eye until 2006.
  • Keep Circulating the Tapes: Their third album Violent Demise is out of print and wasn't available on any digital music stores for years. While used copies aren't too pricey, a new one can cost upwards of over 100 dollars. Born Dead, meanwhile, also took years to be available digitally, but sealed CD copies are widely available. Murder 4 Hire, meanwhile, was always available digitally, but on the flipside, CD copies are hard to find.
  • Working Title: Manslaughter was originally announced as Rise!.
