  • Acting for Two:
    • The cast, consisting of 62 main characters and others, share only 10 voice actors between them. To give you a reference, 2 contestants (Telescope and Jelly) had unique voice actors at the beginning of the show, while Robert Johnston voiced the majority of them at 24.
    • Crazy Flimaker voices both Sock and Gold Nugget.
    • And for future episodes starting with episode 2, Jekosnd voices Blanket and Glue.
  • Cross-Dressing Voices: There is plenty of em', most notably the female ones which includes those voiced by Robert Johnston (Glassy, Pitchfork, Recycling Bin and Safe), taopywagon (Orange Food Dye, Package and Teabag), F-L-R-N (Bouncy Ball, Chocolate Chip, Nabla and Nacho), LivingPyramid (Can and Toothpick), Zoomi (Candle, Yarn and Yellow Food Dye) and Crazy Filmmaker (Gold Nugget).
  • Descended Creator: Robert Johnston not only writes and animates AIB singlehandedly but also voices more than a third of its enormous cast.
  • Fake Brit: Domino (the show's British character) is voiced by the American Robert Johnston.
  • Keep Circulating the Tapes: Around the time the thumbnails got updated, the teasers for both "An Ice Beginning" and "Smarter & Boulder" were removed from Robert's channel.
  • The Other Darrin:
    • Jekosnd started voicing Glue and Blanket from episode 2 onwards, replacing Robert Johnston.
    • As of "Fartists", Kikimozuma now voices Recycling Bin instead of Robert Johnston.
  • Schedule Slip: Not every episode comes out on their promised day or month.
    • Robert originally set the release date of "Smarter & Boulder" to be July 1st, 2020 since he wanted to challenge himself to see if he could make an episode in a month. Unfortunately, he decided to push the episode back to July 15th.
    • "Get a Grip"was basically in Development Hell for several months. It was meant to come out in September 2020note . September came and went with no sign of the episode, and Robert has eventually put up an announcement on the official Animated Inanimate Battle Discord server saying why it hadn't came out.note  Late at night on January 22nd, 2021, he posted a video announcing the release date of "Get a Grip" to be February 10th. Robert later posted an announcement saying that due to the episode's size, it will be released between the 15th and the 17th of February, and ultimately ended up on the latter day.
  • Series Hiatus: Happened twice.
    • The two year hiatus between April 15th, 2018 and April 1st, 2020. In a time where the Pilot episode was still AIB 1a, Robert's channel was terminated after a month of "AIB 1a" being up. This has caused Animated Inanimate Battle to enter hiatus for almost two years until being released as "The Pilot".
    • Recently, after a controversy regarding him blindly believing Taylor Grodin's rather less-than-sincere apology which has caused him to temporarily leave the Object Show Community to better himself as a person, Robert has stated that AIB will be on another hiatus due to not having anymore motivation to continue the show. As of now, this hiatus has not ended.
  • What Could Have Been: There was an early version of the intro which was made before the hiatus, as seen in a Q&A video. Here are a few differences between that and the final intro.
  • Word of Gay: This post confirms two characters' genders: Antimatter being a non-binary, and Tivo being his own gender.
