• Acting for Two: Dave did all the voices during the Jackalope shorts.
• Executive Meddling: In 1992; Vin Di Bona abruptly fired Arleen Sorkin, who subsequently sued Di Bona for $450,000 alleging that there was a racial motivation due to ABC chairman Dan Burke suggesting that Sorkin be replaced by a minority co-host, only for Di Bona - following Sorkin's criticisms going public - to hire Tawny Kitaen, who like Sorkin is also white.
• Keep Circulating the Tapes: The show was last rerun on TBS in 2003. Seasons 1 and 2 have been fully archived on YouTube, but the Tawny Kitaen era has only a couple of brief clips.
• The Other Darrin: Arleen Sorkin was replaced by Tawny Kitaen halfway through.
