• Recycled Script: This episode is basically American Dad's answer to the Family Guy episode "Seahorse Seashell Party". The Butt-Monkey of the family (in this case, Klaus) gets fed up with being abused by the rest of the family and snaps, only to find out that, without them, the rest of the family cannot function, so they resign themselves to the abuse because it's the only way to keep the family together (though in American Dads case, it is Played for Laughs and not meant to be taken seriously).
