• Inspiration for the Work: The idea for the story came from a Discord RP with a friend in wanting to make Yoko a main character for once, and also because Green Phantom Queen wanted Reiji and Sylvio to finally face karma for their actions.
• What Could Have Been: A lot of stuff that was originally written was cut out.
  • Yoko's Stealing the Credit line to Reiji in Chapter 1 was originally a Shout-Out to Walter Keane.
  • When Yugo cries out "Steaaak!" in Chapter 3, the author revealed it was originally going to be "Fsteeeaak!" as a reference to Hiimdaisy's Persona 4 comic.
  • The initial Brick Joke for the Suship archetype was supposed to be set up in Chapter 1, but was later moved to Chapter 3.
  • Reiji would've been chewed out at the end of Chapter 2, but was later moved to Chapter 5 so the focus was placed more on Sylvio.
  • There would've been a scene of Akaba screaming his head off in fury when he saw Yoko take Yuzu away from Yuri. Instead, he just calmly walks out of his throne room in silence.
• Write Who You Know: Chapter 2's paragraph of how Yoko has worked herself to the bone was inspired by the author's mother and the struggles the two faced while they stayed in Myanmar during the COVID pandemic and the 2021 military coup. In particular, the emotions Yoko goes through over how she's frustrated over everything and wants to run away from it all are based on how the author frequently saw her mother wanting to die and get away from all the stress life has given her.
