• Creator Backlash: In the response to reviews at the beginning of Chapter 2 of Reshuffled, the author denounces his old idea of Evokers shooting lasers for an attack.
  • He's also prone to insulting the original A Fool Named Fortune due to no longer liking the writing.
• Suspiciously Specific Denial: Done by the creator(because it amused me) in the author notes at the end of Chapter 13 of Reshuffled in regards to a character who appeared in the chapter for all of one scene. Unsurprisingly, the character in question ends up becoming more important later in the story.
• The Other Darrin: Allegedly played straight, though not really a trope that can come into play during a fan fiction. In Chapter 46 of the Original AFNF, Roy's voice starts sounding like Dante because the author got tired of imagining him speaking in a different voice.
