Tear Jerker / Phantom of the Paradise

• After the Juicy Fruits' complete their set, Winslow rolls out his piano and begins playing some of his Faust concerto. He is there, letting his heart and soul out on the stage. All the while, we get a 360 view of everything, seeing people not caring and leaving. By the end of the song, he is sitting alone in a room that had been full of people earlier.
• Winslow's entire Trauma Conga Line is this, especially when he's committed to Sing Sing where he speaks his mind about not wanting to have his teeth removed and knowing that he can't stop it from happening.
• When Phoenix starts singing "Old Souls" Winslow is so moved by how well she sings his music that he starts crying. It is the only time in the entire movie something really goes right for him and immediately afterwards it starts going horribly wrong for him again.
• Winslow watching Phoenix and Swan from the rooftop, in the rain. He can't even die to escape the sadness and horror.
  You gave up your right to rest in peace when you signed this contract.
• The finale can be seen as heartbreaking. After having exposed Swan and save Phoenix, Winslow begins to die from his self-inflicted knife wound because Swan is dead and his contract is broken. He removes his mask and begins crawling towards Phoenix, who is clearly shocked and confused by everything that's going on. And it isn't until he finally dies she recognizes him and holds his lifeless body. Even up to the end, he didn't get a chance to let Phoenix know how happy she made him feel.
