Granted, it's a Tear Jerker for all the wrong reasons, but Hatred still provides some sympathy.

- Seeing all those innocent civilians downright begging to be spared by the Antagonist as they're brutally offed is incredibly depressing as it is disturbing.
- The man working at the nuclear power plant that the Antagonist wants to start a nuclear meltdown and destroy the city. The man begs not to go through with this for obvious reasons, even as the player character threatens him at gun point. The man then attempts to start the meltdown, but gives up half way because he doesn't want to be responsible for the lives he will destroy, so he simply asks the player to kill him. It's pretty depressing."ALRIGHT, PLEASE STOP!! I WILL DO THIS!! I WILL DO THIS!!"
- For as horrific of a person as the Antagonist is, imagine what must've happened in his life to drive him to become an Omnicidal Maniac. Dude must've had a fucked up life on par with Oedipus.
