• When Conan was writing his monologue the show after the Las Vegas shooting, he wasn't sure what to say so one of his producers gave him examples of what he said after previous shootings. It hit him how depressing that was that they had a file of shooting remarks.
• During Conan and Sona's visit to Armenia, it is really hard not to feel for Sona when they visit the Armenian Genocide Memorial and Sona recounts her family's history during the events.
• For about two weeks after George Floyd's murder, Conan made a point to interview black celebrities to get their insights on the tragedy. Appropriately, they're some of the most serious interviews Conan ever gave.
