• In an omake written by the author of HERZ, Gendo mentions The King in Yellow.
• In the last chapter a character mentions The Space Trilogy by C. S. Lewis.
• The title itself is possibly an allusion to the Stage Play and subsequent film Children Of A Lesser God.
