- Dragon Ball Z's most famous antagonist, Frieza, is identified by his white-purple palette, contrasting the bright oranges and blues worn by the heroes. He's also to this day one of the most evil characters in the series, with a huge list of crimes and an impressively terrible body count. All of his ki attacks as well carry the same purple hue.
- One Piece: Zig-Zagged with Nico Robin who's signature color is purple. She's introduced as an enemy of the Straw Hat Pirates, as well as a particularly dangerous foe, but by the end of the saga she's introduced in, she changes allegiances and becomes a crew member of the Straw Hats, and has since become like family to the heroes.

- The Void is an Eldritch Location that poses an existential threat to the world of Runeterra. Everything thing that emerges from it has a similarly purple color motif to emphasize its alien nature.
- Street Fighter:
- Psycho Power, the energy drawn from purging yourself of goodness, is depicted as a deep purple. Villains like M. Bison and JP utilize Psycho Power, and are some of the most despicable characters in the series. Psycho Power users who aren't evil, like Ed and Decapre, instead lean more towards Anti-Hero territory, and their Psycho Power is weaker as a result.
- Juri is sadistic Blood Knight identified by her purple attire and powers, and while not a Big Bad, she's still a very unpredictable and cruel fighter who enjoys toying with everyone she meets.
