Protagonists' roles in the discrimination plot

Our main characters (Treat, Mochi, Moxie and Trick) were all raised in manners vastly different from each other, leading each one growing up to be a unique individual who deals withe the Fantastic Racism in their own way; in accordance with their personality. These types can be observed in real life.

Treat (Extreme Doormat)

Treat is the docile type who's resigned to the reality of her situation. Without a doubt, she could make the rabbits regret targeting her effortlessly, but her morals prevent her from doing so, because it will give them a genuine reason to hate her.

Mochi (Being Good Sucks)

Moxie (Then Let Me Be Evil)

Having already being raised with ridiculously high standards thanks to her Abusive Mom, Moxie is the one who embraces the terrible reputation her kind has. She finds delight in scaring the rabbits because it gives her a feeling of power and boosts her hidden weak self-esteem.

Parallels can also be made between Moxie and her mom in this mentality: Both of them decide to live up the views on predators. Deep down however, Moxie is not her mom; she might seem like a jerk at first, but she has a heart of gold, rendering her a Harmless Villain.

Trick (Incorruptible Pure Pureness)

Unlike most characters, Trick was raised by a human in a cabin in the mountains which would lead to a well-adjusted, albeit slightly naive person. As seen in one flashback in Chapter 4, Trick doesn't understand why Treat's pack uses transportable houses until it's explained to them.

In the present, Trick is not completely oblivious to the hatred, but comes across as less discouraged by it than Treat. Like Mochi, Trick is an All-Loving Hero whose thoughts are not shaken up by society and while not explicitly trying to challenge the norm like the former, they still make an effort to be nice to everyone, no matter what. A Nice Guy like Myrrh raising Trick is what shaped them to be this way.
