Dean doesn't get the reference, so Stevie describes him as a "modern-day cowboy who drives all across the country with his buddy Jack Kerouac." Later she finds that Dean took her recommendation and bought a copy of On the Road.
That '70s Show: In "On With The Show", Eric tells his parents that he's been reading On The Road, to which Red retorts, "And you are about to read a book that my foot wrote. It's called On The Road To In Your Ass."
