- Better the Devil You Know: Due to constantly being curbstomped by Chase Young's cats when they're under Jack's control, Omi decides that freeing Chase Young is the best solution since in his opinion, despite being more dangerous, he attacks them much less frequently and has no open interest in collecting the Shen Gong Wu.

- Enemy Mine: Omi and Chase team up against Jack Spicer.

- Chase's nonchalant attitude towards being captured makes it clear that Jack is an Unwitting Pawn.
- Chase deliberately throws the Xiaolin Showdown to sell Omi's lie to the monks.
- Old Master: Master Fung shows exactly how he earned the title, taking on the entirety of Chase Young's cat minions by himself.
- Once an Episode: Follow the Leader, first to fall loses. Omi's Orb of Tornami against Chase's Shroud of Shadows for the Mantis Flip Coin. Chase intentionally loses to keep it a secret that Omi released him from the Sphere of Yun.
- Villain Forgot to Level Grind: In "Sizing Up Omi", the warriors were defeated by Cyclops three times in Curp-Stomb Battles, and was only barely defeated by Omi in the fourth. Now, Raimundo and Clay alone are able to defeat him in seconds without even using any Shen Gong Wu. It seems the warriors have been training and practicing since, but Cyclops hasn't.
