Heel–Face Revolving Door: Jack temporarily joins the heroes, but betrays them later. As revealed in the episode's showdown, he did that because he feared that he would fail at being good like he failed at being evil.
His Own Worst Enemy: As it turns out, Jack really did try to turn over a new leaf, but went back to his evil ways because he feared he would fail at good just as he has failed at evil. His fear of failing means he will be stuck as a villain who fails over and over, on top of betraying Omi when he actually thought Jack had changed.
Hoist by His Own Petard: When Catnappe tries to use the Whoozy shooter on Jack, Jack manages to turn it back on her by using the reversing mirror.
