Mayu's Exciting New Semester! is the eighth episode of Wonderful Pretty Cure!.
The school year has started and Mayu has to introduce herself to her new classmates. Luckily for her, she is enrolled in the same class as Iroha, who helps with her introduction and guides her around the school. Meanwhile, Komugi tries to find the school herself after Iroha leaves her behind at home.
- Attention Deficit... Ooh, Shiny!: In her attempt to find Wanyan Junior High, Komugi ends up distracted by the smell of fish, meat, and flowers before "playing" with Yuki.
- Brick Joke: Iroha's Mundane Wish in the first episode came true and she is enrolled in the same class as Satoru.
- Didn't Think This Through: After being done waiting for Iroha to come home, Komugi decides to go to her school herself, but realizes she doesn't know where it is.
- Hellish Horse: The Garugaru of the episode is a corrupted horse. It can easily Speed Blitz the Cures until Cure Wonderful uses the Kirarin Lion's Super-Speed to Flash Step in front of it.
