- And I Must Scream: Ogron, Anagan, and Gantlos are frozen. If Valtor is any indication, they are awake while being frozen. The only hope of their being spared from an eternity of this fate is that they died when they fell into the crevice after.
- Anti-Climax: Easily the most rushed final battle in the entire series. The wizards are defeated within the first 5 minutes. It's widely considered the worst season finale (and one of the worst episodes, period) in the series until Season 6's finale.
- Beam-O-War: The Winx plus Nebula VS the Wizards of the Black Circle.
- Bond One-Liner: After the wizards have been defeated for good, Bloom exclaims, "It's... It's over! This time, it's really over!" note
- Cosmic Deadline: The final battle is only set within the first portion or so. The rest of the episode deals with the Winx doing something else.
- Disney Villain Death: Presumably happens with Ogron, Anagan, and Gantlos, when they fall into a crevice after being frozen.
- End of an Age: The last episode to be dubbed in English by Cinélume.
- Face Death with Dignity: After the Wizards were defeated and the Omega Dimension begins to collapse, Nebula decides to stay behind after having a Heel Realization and doesn't deserve to escape with the Winx. Naturally, Bloom refuses and has Nebula follow them out just in time.
- No One Gets Left Behind: Bloom refuses to leave Nebula behind in the collapsing Omega Dimension even after all that she did to the Winx, because she knew there was still goodness in her heart.
- Redemption Equals Death: Nebula tries to invoke this as she plans on dying with the Wizards, but Bloom averts this.
- Passing the Torch: Morgana retires being queen and passes her position to Nebula, so she can spend time with Roxy.
