Gwen buys a ghost online, but is disappointed when it turns out to be friendly. Owen and Courtney decide to help the ghost be scary so Gwen will play with it.
- Creepy Doll: Beth's dolly that Gwen "fixed" now says "I'LL SWALLOW YOUR SOUL" in a demonic voice when its string is pulled.Gwen: No refunds.
- Eaten Alive: Cody is once again eaten by a large animal, this time being a snake that Duncan threw at him. He manages to crawl his way out by propping the snake's jaws open with some bones he found inside it.
- I Just Want to Have Friends: Floater's motivation, which is unfortunate because he's trying to be friends with an unimpressed Gwen.
- Minion with an F in Evil: Floater is too nice and friendly to people to be genuinely scary. Even when he manages a Killer Teddy Bear routine, he ruins it by doing a happy song and dance.
- Mistaken for Undead: When MacArthur detects an invisible Floater near Gwen, she assumes that the pale, scowling, little girl is the ghost.MacArthur: I can tell just by looking at you. Yeesh, get a tan!
- New Jobs As The Plot Demands: MacArthur is now a Spiritbreaker. Unfortunately for her, she only busts Cody, and Floater turns out to be too powerful.
- Only the Leads Get a Happy Ending: Floater finds out how to be genuinely scary and Gwen finally becomes friends with him... and then they go on to terrorize the world.
- Shout-Out: Floater the Cuddly Ghost is an obvious reference to Casper the Friendly Ghost.
- Sure, Let's Go with That: When MacArthur accidentally busts Cody, Chef assumes he was a ghost. MacArthur hurriedly agrees.
