Timon's Time Togo: Timon accidentally eats a poisonous bug and dies, but is denied entry into Meerkat Heaven unless he does one good deed.
The Law of the Jungle: Timon accidentally scratches his back with The Forbidden Stick, having to go to Jungle Court as a result.
Timon's Time Togo contains examples of:
- Barred from the Afterlife: Due to being rude and obnoxious almost all his life, Timon is denied entry into Meerkat Heaven and is destined for Hell instead. He manages to bargain his way into being accepted into Heaven if he does one good deed.
- Emergency Taxi: Played for Laughs. Upon settling the conditions of him entering Meerkat Heaven, Timon hails a taxi to take his soul back to the land of the living.
- Long List: Pumbaa reads out not only the incredibly specific conditions of when the Red-Footed Roach Beetle is the most poisonous, but also the list of symptoms one experiences after eating it. All while Timon displays those very symptoms.
- Loophole Abuse: In order to enter Meerkat Heaven, Timon must perform one good deed in his life, but he will die instantly after doing so. Realising that this means he's effectively immortal, Timon resolves to never do any more good deeds.
- He tries this again when Pumbaa reveals why he's not dead, asking if it's a leap year or what would happen if the beetle he ate was still in his stomach when Wednesday rolls around. Neither one of those counts, according to Pumbaa.
- Ocular Gushers: Pumbaa lets fly with these when he thinks Timon has actually died.
- "Shaggy Dog" Story: In the end, Timon learns that he didn't actually die - because it's Tuesday, not Wednesday when he ate the beetle. This ticks him off, because Meerkat Heaven had pretty meerkat girls and all the bugs he could eat.
The Law Of The Jungle contains examples of:
- An Aesop: Even if you don't understand with or agree with the law, you should still obey it for you own safety.
- Kangaroo Court: What the court system in the jungle amounts to, barely resembling anything close to proper judicial proceedures.
- Unishment: The punishment for scratching one's back with the Forbidden Stick? A literal slap on the wrist. Touching the Forbidden Rock. however...
