- Does This Remind You of Anything?: The episode opens with Kayo attempting to reveal her relation to the Hood using the phrase "I hope this doesn't change how you feel about me". This is reminiscent of a person trying to come out to their family. Except it's revealing the Big Bad who possibly murdered your father is actually your uncle.
- Even Evil Has Loved Ones: The Hood isn't willing to let Kayo die in the blast because she's family. He quickly revokes this "favour" when she reveals they were never on Tracy Island to begin with.
- Godzilla Threshold: Kayo engages the WASP protocol, something so vital that it was the first thing Jeff taught to Lady Penelope when she joined IR.
- If I Can't Have You…: The Hood pulls this when Kayo resets the central computer, saying that if he can't have Tracy Island no one can. Thus he attempts to blow up the Island.
- Internal Reveal: The Tracy brothers find out Kayo is the Hood's niece.
- Poor Communication Kills: Kayo being interrupted in confessing her relation to the Hood comes back to bite her on the arse when he reveals it himself, planting doubt in the Tracys regarding Kayo.
