Wayne gets his drivers license. However, he has to drive Kevin to the mall, which he does not want to do. When it's time to pick Kevin up, he keeps driving a little further each time Kevin tries to open the door, getting his keys taken away. Kevin manages to score a date with a girl he met at the mall, but to his horror, Jack lets Wayne have the car keys back as long as he drives Kevin and his date to the movies. After leaving the house, Wayne soon stops the car and begs Kevin to get out there so he can focus on his date with Delores. Kevin refuses, so Wayne drives recklessly, until the car crashes into a hayfield. Despite being a jerk, Wayne actually shows concern for Kevin over the incident.

- Aesop Amnesia: After the crash, Kevin is mad at Wayne (even after he apologizes). When he finally forgives Wayne, Wayne once again keeps driving ahead when Kevin tries to get in.
- Big Brother Bully: Wayne is a jerk to Kevin, as usual. When he picks up Kevin at the mall, he embarrasses Kevin in front of a potential girlfriend, when Kevin goes to get in, every time he tries to open the door, Wayne drives a few inches ahead, and when Jack orders Wayne to drive Kevin and his date, when they are a block away, he begs Kevin to get out so Wayne can focus on his date.
- Big Brother Instinct/ Pet the Dog: After crashing into a hayfield, Wayne asks Kevin if he's alright. The narrator says that this was the first time Wayne had shown such concern for him.
- Ungrateful Bastard: After his incident with Kevin, Jack takes Wayne's car keys away and grounds him from driving. He soon gets his driving privileges back, as long as he drives Kevin, but then tries to make Kevin get out the car.
